माँ का उर ,नायक का संकल्प ,
कोमलतम पुष्प का मधुरतम स्पर्श,
आकर्षण और शक्ति जो करते निरस्त ,
यग्य की वेदी की लपटों का खेल ;
नेतृत्व शक्ति ,प्रेम में आबद्ध ;
दूर दीखते स्वप्न,धैर्य पूर्ण मग ,
असीम विशवास आत्मा में ,सर्वत्र ,
दिव्य ज्योति निहित महत में ,क्षुद्र में ;
ये सब और मेरी दृष्टि से परे का भी ..

A Blessing
 
The Mother's heart, the hero's will,
The softest flowers' sweetest feel;
The charm and force that ever sway
The altar-fire's flaming play;
The strength that leads, in love obeys;
Far-reaching dreams, and patient ways,
Eternal faith in Self, in all,
The light Divine in great, in small;
All these and more than I could see,
Today may "Mother" grant to thee
