हवा पत्तियों और नाशपाती की छाया को दीवार और फूलों की चित्रवल्लरी पर बिखेर देती है।
फलों के पेड़ और देवदार की छायाएँ, लिली की सुलेख रेखा को घुला देती हैं,
और चमकता सूरज उनके जंगल की आग को नीचा दिखाता है,
अब तक सूरज अन्दर चला गया है और पेड़ों के नीचे शुद्ध और अन्धेरी पारदर्शिता पड़ी हुई है
और फूलों की लौ और तेज़ सुलगती है, और वे गहरे रंग की धातुओं पर खुद जाते हैं
उनके पुंकेसर और घुमावदार पंखुड़ियाँ :
पकी फ़सील पर, एनीमोन की पत्तियाँ, चमेली हवा सी घनी गुंजान लिए
और
हवा इसके लिए ख़ुशबू से हामिला हुई ।

Tiger lilies
The wind disposes shadows of leaves and pears over the wall and frieze of flowers.
Shadows of fruit tree and of pine Dissolve the lilies calligraphic line,
And flashing Sun puts down their Jungle fire,
Till now the sun goes in and pure and dark transparence lies like under the trees
And the flame of the flowers burns hotter, and deeper they incise on darker metals
Their stamens and voluted petals:
