अभी और चलना है / स्वदेश भारती
कितने सारे ऊबड़ खाबड़
टेढ़े मेढ़े, मरुजीवी, जलजीवी, थलजीवी भूमि खण्डों
सघन वनाँचल, ऊँचे नीचे रास्तों
अनगिन चौराहों को पारकर
चलता हुआ पथिक अबाधगतिक
एक चौराहे पर रुक गया है ।
आशा अभी भी बिल्ली की आँख की तरह
चमक रही है
औदार्य-कम्पन में
कहीं भी शिथिलता नहीं है
अभी तो और भी चलना है
और भी आगे
सूर्य की तरह
अपने गन्तव्य तक जाना है ।
और उसी तरह ओजस्वी लाल रँगोली त्योहार मनाते
सान्ध्य-क्षितिज आँगन में
शून्यता की ओट ढलना है
अभी और चलना है
और भी आगे
क्योंकि इसी क्रम में
नए बदलाव में
बदलना है ।

Still we've to go a long way
Having passed so many
uneven, crooked roads and
moments of torcherous deserts
stretches of treacherous wetlands
Dense forests and hight and low chartered ways.
innumerable crossings
at last crossing the final hurdle
the traveler reached the halting place.
But the hope still brightly shines
Like some cat's eyes in the darkness
He is not a all tired in his limbs
keeping the heart open in use
delight has to proceed on and on up to the height
Like the brightest star he has to reach
his destination and take part in
the colorful Rangoli festival of fun
At the court yard of evenings, horizons
And, to be lost in the expanse of void.
But just now he has to go on
forward and onward because
in the perspective of changes
one transforms the self not otherwise.
