तुमने क्या खोया जिसका तुम्हें दुख है
मैंने रिक्शा खींचते आदमी से पूछा
उसने कहा वे तीन भाई है
माँ बचपन में ही मर गई
वह चाहता था तीनों में प्यार बना रहे
मगर उसकी हर कोशिश बेकार गई
मैंने देखा उसकी कहानी पूरी हो चुकी है
पर वह चाहता है कुछ देर मैं और रूकूँ
उसका शरीर अभी उत्तेजना से हिल ही रहा था

Which loss you regret most
I asked the rickshaw puller
He said they are three brothers
Mother died when they were young
He wanted all three should live amicably
But his efforts came to naught
This was the end of his story, I thought
But he perhaps wanted me to stay for a while
His body was still shaking with emotion
