तुम अन्धेरे से बाहर आते हो
अपने हाथ में लिए हुए फूलों का गुच्छा
अब तुम उस उलझन से भी बाहर निकल आओगे
जब लोगों की बातें तुम्हारे मन में खलबली पैदा करती हैं
मैंने देखा है कि तुम कैसे नाराज़ हो जाते हो
बातचीत के दौरान जब लोग तुम्हारा नाम लेते हैं
आम जगहों पर ।
मुझे लगता है कि मुझे अपना दिमाग ठण्डा रखना चाहिए
तब मेरे लिए यह दुनिया भी सूख जाएगी एक सूखी पत्ती की तरह
या कुकरौन्धे की फली की तरह और साफ़ हो जाएगी।
तब मैं तुम्हें फिर से पा सकूँगा,
अकेला ।
